BS in International Business
The global business market is a complex and diverse system of relationships between countries,
companies, and consumers. As an international business major, you will develop an in-depth
understanding of the international market, right here in New York City at the center of global
business. Whether you want to work with developing economies or in global marketing and
technology, you can customize the curriculum with a minor in economics, international studies, or
a foreign language. You can also study abroad and pursue internships—which often lead to an offer
of employment—at iconic companies and consulting firms.
Rachel Summers (2016) graduated summa cum laude from Marymount Manhattan College, with
double majors in International Business and Marketing, and minors in Accounting and Theatre
Arts. Rachel received “Gold Key” awards in both majors and honors in the Accounting minor.
Rachel was accepted into five prestigious graduate programs, including one at the London School
of Economics. Rachel has chosen to pursue the Masters in International Business affiliated with
the Stern School of Business at NYU.
“I truly appreciated Marymount Manhattan College for its knowledgeable
professors and variety of programs that have helped me further my goals in
business and in acting.”
“The amazing classes taught by brilliant
professors gave me the knowledge needed
to step into a full-time role at a company.
The fact that the College was in New York
City made me independent, courageous,
and open-minded, and helped me develop
my communication, organization, and
prioritization skills, which are crucial for my
current role at JP Morgan. My professors gave
me the confidence and support for the future.”
