polished dies to ensure high quality strikes. The resulting coins
feature sharp designs and a mirror-like background, the foregrounds
give off a frosted intense special cameo effect. These
Proof Presidential Dollars are struck at the San Francisco Mint
and carry the “S” mint mark. Each 4-coin set comes in the
Original Government Packaging.

Presidential Dollar Coin Fact:
In 2007 & 2008 the Presidential Dollars were designed
with the words "In God We Trust", "E Pluribus Unum",
the date and the mint mark on the edge of the coin. This
however created an enormous uproar among the collecting
community since "In God We Trust" is traditionally on the
obverse of a coin and many people thought it was left off entirely.
As a result, in 2009 "In God We Trust" along with the date were
moved to the front of the coin thus creating two different design
types throughout the series.
