not comply with the<br />

Signals) Regulation<br />
1996 and must be<br />
replaced or have<br />
a running man<br />
pictogram positioned<br />
alongside them.<br />
The Primary evacuation<br />
route is the<br />
normally used access<br />
to a place of safety<br />
while the Secondary<br />
route is often not the<br />
normal access route<br />
but can be used as<br />
an alternative escape<br />
to a place of safety<br />
in the event of an<br />
emergency.<br />
