First aid equipment
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, Approved Code of Practice & Guidance - Third
Edition (1st October 2013) sets out the requirements relating to the number, qualifications and
training of the First Aider. The occupants, layout of the premises, access to members of the public
and special hazards present in and around the building are relevant to the number of First Aiders
required.
