Teltag system
Teltag two part label - Asset management & Maintenance record
The two part set consists of firstly a rigid polycarbonate holder, back printed,
so that the details of the equipment can be written on the front surface. This
should be permanently affixed to the piece of equipment, preferable by means
of two cable ties or alternatively with double sided tape. The second part is the
Maintenance Record insert, printed on semi-rigid PVC with a matt finish to allow
details of the maintenance record to be added with a fine point permanent marker.
When the Maintenance Record insert is not present the holder indicates that the
equipment is “not to be used”. This insert will only be absent if the equipment is
awaiting maintenance/tests or has been condemned.

Teltag electrical safety test label
This electrical test label (printed on
semi rigid PVC) should be affixed to all
portable electrical equipment to record
the test status of the appliance. The
operator, supervisor, outside agency or
customer etc. can then see at a glance
that the equipment is being properly
managed.
