YEAR-END GATHERING<br />

Sen. Nancy Binay was invited<br />

to induct the incoming officers<br />

of the Cebu Pharmacists Association<br />

during their year-end<br />

gathering in Cebu.<br />

She thanked the pharmacists<br />

for their professionalism and<br />

advocacy in curbing counterfeit<br />

medicines and selfmedication.<br />

She also updated<br />

them on the developments<br />

on the Tax Reform Acceleration<br />

and Inclusion (TRAIN) bill.<br />

50th Founding Anniversary of the College of Education of<br />

BULACAN STATE UNIVERSITY<br />

Sen. Nancy Binay was invited to be the keynote<br />

speaker to the 50th founding anniversary of<br />

the College of Education of Bulacan State University<br />

(BulSU) in Malolos, Bulacan. She vowed<br />

to push for the full implementation of free tuition<br />

in the tertiary level and to increase the<br />

salaries of teachers in state universities and<br />

colleges (SUCs). The senator encouraged the<br />

students, faculty and the BulSu administration<br />

to do their best to adapt and keep up with the<br />

challenges of modern technology.
