Earth Service Corp is a national Y program for teens focusing on environmental<br />

service learning projects. In this camp teens are engaged with hands-on<br />

projects that develop team work skills, while learning to use various tools,<br />

care for animals, plan and execute a team project. The program also<br />

includes a day trip to conduct a service project at a local persevere.<br />

FISHING CAMP-BEGINNER • Ages 9-12<br />

Learn the basics from our veteran fishing instructors. Take home a brand<br />

new rod, reel and tackle box, and learn casting, pole lining, water reading,<br />

baiting, equipment maintenance and repair, and fish retrieval and release.<br />

ncludes on-site instruction and daily field trips to local ponds, creeks,<br />

lakes and/or reservoirs.<br />

More challenging fishing fun! Young anglers spend most of their time<br />

fishing at local ponds, creeks, lakes and/or reservoirs with our veteran<br />

fishing instructors. Participants will receive new fishing equipment.<br />

Prerequisite: Fishing <strong>Camp</strong> or similar experience with approval from the<br />

Environmental Education Director.<br />
