We’re on the home straight<br />

SCIRT’s programme of repairs to pipes, roads, bridges and retaining walls will<br />

be completed by December this year.<br />

After SCIRT, The Christchurch City Council and NZ Transport Agency will<br />

continue their programmes of ongoing repairs.<br />

Your support is helping us to get the job done, thank you from the SCIRT team.<br />

We’re now 89% of the way through our programme of repairs.<br />

SCIRT progress in your neighbourhood<br />

Residents of Lyttelton will know that millions of dollars are being spent<br />

in the Banks Peninsula repairing, rebuilding and strengthening retaining<br />

walls this year. There is also a substantial programme of repairs of the<br />

wastewater, storm water, fresh water and road networks in the area.<br />

• Watermain repairs are currently underway in Governors <strong>Bay</strong> and will be<br />

completed by August this year.<br />

• Rebuilding the Beachville Road Seawall in Redcliffs and roading is due<br />

to finish in September.<br />

• Extensive repairs works in Mt Pleasant to underground pipes, retaining<br />

walls and roads will continue until the end of the year.<br />

• Lyttelton is still busy with ongoing retaining wall repairs which are due<br />

to be completed in September, underground pipe and roading repairs<br />

will continue through in the area to the end of the year.<br />
