Buyers Love a Bargain<br />

Buyers are still motivated by a bargain! Not much has changed with that over the years. That’s<br />

why you will often see multiple bidders or multiple offers on properties that are being sold”as is,<br />

where is” or Estate Realisations or Mortgagee sales. Buyers are motivated to act quickly on these<br />

properties in the belief they make pick up a bargain. Why? Because in most cases they understand<br />

that the vendor is a “genuine seller” and is not just testing the market.<br />

Don’t get me wrong, buyers still know a good house when they see one and it’s not always about<br />

the money. It can also be about buying a property that best suits their needs. However, if we<br />

think this through a bit further, it seems to me that if you are thinking of selling it makes sense to<br />

advertise your property in a way that buyers believe you are a genuine seller and that you have<br />

realistic expectations.<br />
