new dentures<br />
for Christmas<br />
While it may seem too early to start<br />
thinking about Christmas, anyone looking<br />
at getting new dentures fitted before the<br />
holiday season starts needs to book in<br />
now, says Ryan Carlton of Dentures Plus<br />
in innes Road.<br />
Appointments are filling up over the<br />
next few weeks, and as the process takes<br />
several appointments over a few months<br />
to complete, people are advised to get in<br />
touch as soon as possible to ensure their<br />
dentures are settled in by Christmas, Ryan<br />
advises.<br />
Patients can approach Dentures Plus<br />
directly, who will either recommend a<br />
dentist for teeth extraction or contact<br />
the patient’s own dentist. The dentures<br />
are made up before the dentist extracts<br />
the teeth, as this helps the mouth heal<br />
faster. The professional approach taken by<br />
Ryan and his staff ensures that the whole<br />
process of having dentures fitted goes as<br />
smoothly as possible.<br />
Ryan also advises that people with<br />
existing dentures should have them<br />
checked every two to three years to make<br />
sure they are not starting to wear, which<br />
could cause discomfort in the future. This<br />
may not be noticeable to the wearer, Ryan<br />
says, but a free, no-obligation check-up<br />
will determine if the dentures need some<br />
attention, or even replacing.<br />

relining, which is done after the first few<br />
months to make sure the new dentures<br />
are fitting correctly, through to providing<br />
