Top scholars recognised at Rangi Ruru<br />
RANGI RURU Girls’ School<br />
came together to celebrate top<br />
achieving students at its<br />
end-of-year prize-giving.<br />
Marisol Hunter was named<br />
dux, while Isabella Gregory was<br />
announced as proxime accessit<br />
for the senior school.<br />

Marisol received distinction<br />
in the ICAS Science Competition,<br />
high distinction in the<br />
Australian Chemistry Quiz and<br />
third in the University of Otago<br />
Senior Science Quiz.<br />
In addition to her outstanding<br />
academic role, Marisol is<br />
also an athlete and a musician,<br />
senior athletics champion,<br />
captain of cross country and<br />
lifesaving, lifesaving coach,<br />
national selection in orienteering,<br />
clarinet and percussion<br />
player.<br />
