Dr. Bohdan Klid (University of
Alberta – Holodomor Research
& Consortium/HREC) addressed
Sister students on this
dark moments in world history,
also, referencing primary resources
available for research
at the Ukrainian Cultural and
Educational Center – Oseredok
in Winnipeg.

No better quote describes Dr. George Heshka. Regardless
of whatever other titles he holds over the course of
his life, he will first and foremost, be the Master teacher
- a wise Elder with contemporary visions. Sisler High’s
motto states: “vincit qui se vincit.” Dr. George Heshka
walks out this motto in his life’s purpose. His extensive
influence and multiple accomplishments are indeed reflected
in the successes of the generations he mentored. УВ
