along to this creative writing<br />

class. It will suit people new<br />

to creative writing, or those<br />

wanting to hone their skills,<br />

pick up some tips and learn<br />

from other aspiring writers.<br />

you’re at the library, or some<br />

books on creative writing.<br />

Mid-Week Laughter Club<br />

Wednesday, 6-7pm<br />

The focus of the club is to get<br />

over the stress of the first part<br />

of the week and have a positive<br />

outlook for the rest. The event<br />

aims to release endorphins and<br />

help you relax and lower stress<br />

levels. There is no comedy,<br />

stand up or jokes at this session.<br />

Instead, you are encouraged to<br />

make yourself laugh at nothing<br />

at all for the purpose of relaxing.<br />

name a few, as well as Xbox<br />

and PS4 tournaments. This<br />

event will be aimed at children<br />

aged between eight and 12, no<br />

Oderings School Gardens<br />

Show<br />

Friday to Sunday, 10am<br />

onwards<br />

Primary school pupils have<br />

been lovingly tending to<br />

gardens they have created for<br />

the show. Check out the clever<br />

and colourful creations on<br />

display and vote for the people’s<br />

choice winner. The cafe will be<br />

open so pick up a coffee and<br />

have a walk around the gardens.<br />

There will also be plenty of<br />

parking on site.<br />

KNITTERS: Pack your knitting and crochet needles and bring them along to this crafty event.<br />

It aims to encourage craft-loving people to get out and about and enjoy meeting people and<br />

being social, while also sharing their skills and craft secrets. Exchange pattern ideas and offer<br />

help to one another. While you’re there, pick up a book from the library about new patterns<br />

or projects. The group will meet on Wednesday at 11am to 1pm in the Linwood Library at<br />

Eastgate Mall. This event will be free and will suit people of all ages and abilities.<br />
