The Bridge Restaurant & Bar is a really<br />
pleasant place to enjoy the company of<br />
others over lunch or dinner, in a nice<br />
warm comfortable setting with gas fires in<br />
the dining room and bar.<br />
Their winter menu is now out and<br />
there is plenty of piping hot options<br />
that includes: hot chowder, lamb shanks<br />
and roast of the day on Sundays. They<br />
also have a nice and diversified dessert<br />
menu with treats such as Sudden death<br />
chocolate cake and Hot apricot Filo with<br />
ice-cream.<br />
There is something to suit all palettes<br />
and dietary needs including gluten free so<br />
if you have a particular requirement, you<br />
only need ask and they will endeavour to<br />
cater for this.<br />
every Wednesday night, many locals<br />
and regular quiz enthusiasts pack the<br />
bar at 7.00pm for quiz night with teams<br />
competing fiercely for prizes awarded to<br />
the brightest and best of the evening. Then<br />
on Friday evenings, The Bridge Restaurant<br />
& Bar sponsors the Prebbleton Rugby<br />
club who fundraises by running raffles,<br />
supported by many locals.<br />
on the weekend, there are Super Rugby<br />
matches on the big screen giving lots of<br />
reason to relax and enjoy a drink or dinner<br />
at a more leisurely pace.<br />
This spacious venue has room to relax<br />
over a drink, nibble on a bar snack, dine<br />
in comfort in its restaurant or alfresco, or<br />
to gather as a group in the function room<br />
which is available for groups of up<br />
to 40 people.<br />
There is plenty of parking and if you<br />
would rather not drive, then their courtesy<br />
van can be booked for pick-up and dropoffs.<br />
