Primarily, you’ll be responsible for delivering<br />
the Regional Business Partner (RBP)<br />
programme to businesses in the Ashburton<br />
and <strong>Selwyn</strong> Districts. On a daily basis, you’ll<br />
be helping business owners and managers<br />
identify opportunities to grow their businesses,<br />
access expertise, mentoring services and<br />
research and development funding.<br />
Key responsibilities include:<br />
• Completing business assessments to<br />
identify capability gaps and areas of support<br />
required<br />
• Identifying criteria appropriateness for<br />
funding requests and R&D getting started<br />
grants<br />
• Developing action plans for businesses with<br />
appropriate referrals for support<br />
• Making appropriate referrals to New<br />
Zealand Business Mentors<br />
• Supporting other Regional Partner<br />
Organisations<br />
The position requires a commitment of a<br />
0.8 FTE to achieve the objectives of the<br />
RBP programme and by agreement also<br />
be available to provide general support to<br />
Chamber members based in the Ashburton and<br />
<strong>Selwyn</strong> districts.<br />

OUT OF ZONE ENROLMENTS<br />
The Ellesmere College Board of Trustees invites applications from parents who<br />
wish to enrol their sons and daughters at Ellesmere College for the 2017 year.<br />
Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are<br />
available from the school office.<br />

The deadline for receipt of applications for out of zone places is Friday 19 <strong>August</strong><br />
<strong>2016</strong>.<br />
It would be appreciated if parents of students who live within the College Home<br />
Zone also apply by this date in order to assist planning for next year.<br />
The Board has determined that Thirty (30) places are likely to be available for out of<br />
zone students next year. The exact number of places will depend on the number<br />
of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.<br />
If the number of out of zone applications exceeds the number of places available,<br />
students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required it will be held on October<br />
17th, <strong>2016</strong>. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three<br />
school days of the ballot being held.<br />
