Assistant Manager<br />
EAL AgriServices is a well-established leading agricultural<br />
contractor based in the <strong>Selwyn</strong> district of Canterbury.<br />
We operate a varied fleet of modern, well-maintained<br />
machinery servicing the local area from two locations<br />
- Southbridge and Hororata - with baling, silage, straw,<br />
cartage, cultivation and drilling.<br />
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced<br />
person who is proficient in both operating and servicing<br />
all machinery relative to a silage contracting business.<br />
This is a senior role and applicants must have extensive<br />
experience for this position, along with a wide range of<br />
engineering skills.<br />
In addition, successful candidates are required to:<br />
• Have a Class 5 licence<br />
• Have experience operating telehandlers, modern<br />
tractors and large machinery<br />
• Have a strong work ethic and strive for the highest<br />
standard of work for our clients<br />
• Be fit, reliable, presentable and be able to<br />
communicate well with customers<br />
• Hours can be long and challenging, so a good sense<br />
of humour is essential.<br />
Applicants must be able to complete basic paperwork<br />
such as weekly timesheets and use an online job<br />
management app.<br />
Only applicants with NZ residency or a current/valid NZ<br />
work visa will be considered for this position.<br />
