been recognised for 25 years<br />
service to the Coalgate<br />
Volunteer Fire Brigade.<br />
He was recognised at an<br />
award ceremony at the<br />
Glentunnel Community<br />
Centre recently.<br />
Only four per cent of<br />
firefighters throughout the<br />
country achieve this medal.<br />
More than 130 people<br />
turned out for the event.<br />

to recognise Mr Brown’s<br />
gold star award.<br />
“We held other awards but<br />
he was the centre of attention<br />
