The proposed development together with<br />
the 27-storey The Essence twin residential<br />
towers (offering another 315 units of<br />
apartments), a retail mall, convention centre, 2<br />
hotels and a 28-storey office tower will make up<br />
the Light City, a large-scale integrated mixeduse<br />
waterfront development in Glugor, Penang.<br />
The Light City itself is part of the second<br />
phase of The Light Waterfront Penang, a<br />
152-acre integrated waterfront development<br />
which will be developed over 3 phases viz.<br />
Phase 1 consisting of 42 acres of residential<br />
development, Phase 2 consisting of 103 acres<br />
of mixed development and Phase 3 consisting of<br />
