$20.2m Hub Hornby ticket unclaimed<br />

$20.2 million – but the lucky<br />
winner of Saturday’s Lotto<br />
Powerball is still to claim their<br />
prize.<br />
A Lotto spokeswoman said<br />
yesterday it was yet to hear from<br />
the holder of the winning ticket,<br />
which was purchased at Hornby<br />
Mall Lotto, at <strong>The</strong> Hub Hornby.<br />
<strong>The</strong> prize was made up of $20<br />
million from the Powerball first<br />
division, and $200,000 from<br />
Lotto first division.<br />

a family desperately searching<br />
for their missing teenager who<br />
is feared to have drowned near<br />
Scarborough Beach. Jack Sutton,<br />
14, was swimming with a friend<br />
on a teachers only day on Monday<br />
when he was washed away by<br />
strong waves. His friend made<br />
it out and raised the alarm<br />
about 3.20pm. His mother Sue<br />
Sutton was not prepared to speak<br />
about her son when approached<br />
yesterday, but said the community<br />

MURDER TRIAL STARTS<br />
<strong>The</strong> trial of the man accused<br />
of murdering Christchurch<br />
sex worker Renee Larissa<br />
Duckmanton will start on<br />
Monday. Sainey Marong is<br />
accused of killing the 22-yearold<br />
on May 15, 2016. Marong,<br />
a 33-year-old butcher from<br />
Ilam, denies murdering Ms<br />
Duckmanton in Christchurch the<br />
day before her body was found<br />
among a scrub fire on Main<br />
Rakaia Rd, north of Rakaia. <strong>The</strong><br />
trial is expected to last three<br />
weeks.<br />
MISSING PEOPLE<br />
Police are looking for Sumner<br />
resident Brendon Laughton,<br />
46, who has been missing since<br />
Monday. His wife Leanne<br />
Crozier posted on Facebook<br />
about her missing husband on<br />
Tuesday, saying she had reported<br />
his disappearance to police on<br />
Monday. It is believed he has<br />
his vehicle, a Skoda Superb<br />
registration LCB733, and his<br />
skateboard with him. She said he<br />
could have been wearing black<br />
Reebok sneakers with blue soles<br />
and either tracksuit pants or<br />
jeans and a hoodie. Police are<br />
also looking for Anna James-<br />
Revell, 20, has been missing since<br />
Monday night. She was last seen<br />
in Rangiora at 8.30pm wearing<br />
ripped jeans and a black Adidas<br />
top. Anyone with information is<br />
urged to phone police on<br />
