The last day to register by mail or in person is Feb. 20 and March 4 is the last day to register online. Two forms of identification are necessary when registering – one must show current name and address; second identification can be name only. Anyone who is unsure about the status of their registration may visit thewil lcountyclerk.com, click on Voter Lookup under the What’s New section. If you have moved within Will County, complete the back portion of your voter’s card and return it to the County Clerk’s Office or email the Change of Address to voter registration@willcountyilli nois.com by Feb. 20. If a Will County resident is currently registered to vote in Will County but has moved and still lives in Will County, they do not need to re-register to vote. Will County voter cards have a change of address section that can be cut out and mailed back to the County Clerk. Or, residents can use the Voter Registration Change of Address form at thewillcountyclerk.com. Former or new residents of Will County or someone who had a name change must re-register with the election authority of the county in which they reside. Registration ends in person or by mail on Feb. 20. The last to register online is March 4. Nancy Schultz Voots, Will County Clerk, wants to inform Will County voters that In-Person Early Voting and Vote by Mail ballots will not be available on Feb. 8 due to the decision handed down by the Appellate Court, Ordering a Stay Pending Appeal, of the Cook County Circuit Court Order to remove the name of Scott Drury from the ballot for the Office of Attorney General, in Rottman v. ISBE, et al., No. 18- 0234. As soon as ballots are available, the website will be updated. In the interim, any voters who arrive at the County Clerk’s Office will be given the option to apply for a Vote by Mail ballot.
