prostitution
By Ochuko Akuopha
detriment of Niger Delta as
a region.
“The rate at which youths,
including primary and
secondary school children,
not to talk of
undergraduates in higher
institutions are involved in
killings and violence in the
name of cultism is very
disturbing and should not
be allowed to continue.
President Muhammadu
Buhari, Azikel Refinery is
in the forefront of ensuring
that Nigeria attains selfsufficiency
in petroleum
products.
Baru pledged that
NNPC will continue to
support the project towards
completion and lauded
President Buhari for the
policy towards improving
production of refined
petroleum products to
ensure availability in all
parts of the country.
of the polytechnic was to
by state of the art facilities
in a conducive
environment comparable
to global standards.”
He assured that the
students will be exposed
to different areas of
entrepreneurship
“Our youth should also
ask why political leaders
send their children abroad
to study, while our
educational system in the
Niger Delta is not working
with the proliferation of
different cult groups. They
should also inquire why
there is no constant
electricity despite the
abundance of gas flaring
everywhere in the Niger
Delta."
impact positively on
capacity and improved
production of petroleum
products in the country.”
He emphasized that the
Azikel refinery is well
poised to meet the mandate
of increased refining
capacity, adding that
Nigeria stands to benefit a
lot from the initiative.
He congratulated the
Group President of Azikel
Group for building a new
private refinery and prayed
that the steps taken and
work done will serve as a
roadmap for others to join
in industrializing the nation
on the path of economic
recovery.
“through hands-on-skills
acquisition during the
course of your study in this
SPD, Mr Oke Idawane,
yesterday, said the party
was being repositioned to
take over power from All
Progressives Congress,
APC, at the national level.
He added that the party
was also re-strategizing to
win the Delta State
2019, noting that structures
were being put in place to
make the party more
formidable both at the
national and state levels.
Briefing newsmen after
an enlarged state
executive meeting of the
party, Idawane said the
SDP was out to push both
calling on Mulade to
honour this call and come
of the prudent
since Major-General Paul
