Annexure-03- Intimation letter sent to District and state officials by e-mail about the Public Inquest
horticultural activities, cattle farming as well as Kaani settlements within all parts of the
district.
The High Level Team would like to meet you personally as well as all other senior officials in
the districts like the District Collector, the different Assistant Directors of Fisheries, the
Assistant Director of Agriculture, the Assistant Director of Horticulture and others to also
ensure that the Public Inquest team also “knows, seeks and obtains” information about the
official version of the Government in this human disaster before concluding our Public
Inquest report on the disaster and the response of the Government and its instrumentalities.
It is in this light we would like to seek your appointment with the high-level team with regards
to Cyclone Ockhi on 28 December 2017 after 4 PM in the evening or on the 29 th morning
after 10.30 AM. We would be happy if you or your designated personal staff could kindly
meet our representatives Mr. Saravanabavan (9442016222) or Mr. Nagendran
(9994368527) to confirm the date, time and venue of the appointment.
