Chollet. Chollet is a Christchurch<br />

based poetry and short story<br />

writer, who has also worked<br />

as a freelance journalist. Her first<br />

novel Alignment has drawn on<br />

her experiences living in France<br />

and her love of Brittany. She<br />

will talk about her writing approach,<br />

routine, inspiration and<br />

how living in France influenced<br />

the novel. Entry is a gold coin<br />

Reading to Dogs<br />

Tuesday, 3.30-4.30pm<br />

These sessions have been designed<br />

to provide a relaxed and<br />

non-threatening atmosphere to<br />

encourage children to practise<br />

their reading skills and develop a<br />

love of reading. This programme<br />

uses dogs who are the pets of the<br />

city council animal management<br />

team and have been trained and<br />

tested for health, safety and temperament.<br />
