know what looks tasty
and you know what’s
going to work. Looking
for that ripe wood. So
looking at the characteristics
of the wood,
if there’s sap that’s a
big no as it means the
woods younger and not
as tough, any shakes
in the wood, any splits
anything like that
obviously signs of
weakness, knots ect. So
if you get a dead knot
they can just pop out.
But you can get some
really beautiful knots in.”
