The Ailsa Course at Turnberry experienced a major renovation in 2015/2016 with 5 new holes created, 9 greens moved and the other 9<br />
reconstructed. All tees and bunkers have been reconstructed as well. The fairway bunkers were restored to a rough edged style. The work<br />
started in September 2015 and the course was ready for play again in June 2016 when the famous Turnberry Hotel was reopened having<br />
undergone a complete reconstruction & a 500 seat Ballroom added.
