Directions to St. Luke’s Birchwood, Lincoln. APRIL 2018 1. From the A15, A158 and A46 heading south to Lincoln:;follow the Lincoln ring road signed for Newark. At the end of the dual carriageway section roundabout take the first exit signed for Birchwood onto the Skellingthorpe Road. Proceed to the traffic lights and turn right into Birchwood Avenue. Follow this road for 0.9 mile passing the Police Station, JW’s and Leisure Centre. Turn right into Jasmin Road and proceed along here past Co-op and surgery. Immediately after the Infant School turn left into the Church drive. Park by the Youth Hall. 2. From Newark or Grantham via A1, pick up the A46 for Lincoln North and other northbound traffic (signs for Scunthorpe, Humber Bridge etc.) Cross the next roundabout (second exit) and go to the next roundabout. Take the third exit signed for Birchwood. Then as 1. 3. From the A15 heading north to Lincoln, the simplest (but not most direct) route is as follows: Take the A15 into and around the south and east side of Lincoln, past the football club, bearing left at the next set of lights and following the flyover route up and past the Cathedral (on your left ) and out along the Wragby road until you reach the roundabout signposted for the A15 and A46. Follow the signs for Newark and the directions as1. 4. From Gainsborough via the A156 and A57 heading south to Lincoln: turn right onto the A46 to the Skellingthorpe Road roundabout. Then as 1. 5. St. Luke’s is the modern red brick building on the left.
