Charbonneau’s 13th<br />
book “Time Bomb” was<br />
released on March 13. On<br />
that same day, she visited<br />
students from Northbrook’s<br />
Maple School to<br />
talk about her life and career.<br />
One of her first comments<br />
was that she never<br />
thought she would be an<br />
author. Although she has<br />
always been an avid reader,<br />
she majored in theater<br />
and music at Milliken University,<br />
and ended up with<br />
a master’s degree in opera<br />
performance.<br />
Charbonneau admitted<br />
that she never even took<br />
an English class in high<br />
school or college. She was<br />
a professional stage performer<br />
and private music<br />
teacher until she was in<br />

was driving home, she began<br />
thinking about writing<br />

said this experience actually<br />
prepared her for future<br />
