laments screen matriarch<br />

has unveiled its line-up of<br />
programs for the year to keep<br />

Speaking at a content upfront<br />
in Lagos, Harish Goyal, CEO,<br />
Zee TV Africa and Indian<br />
Ocean Islands, said: “We are<br />
really excited about the wide<br />
acceptance and appreciation of<br />
our programmes here in<br />
Nigeria and we keep improving<br />
our content to keep our viewers<br />
happy.”<br />

exciting new programmes<br />
across all channels to bring you<br />

planned for Bollywood lovers<br />
across its major channels – the<br />
popular Zee World, Zee<br />

This year’s programming on<br />
Zee World features the muchanticipated<br />
return of Twist of Fate<br />
- everybody’s favourite TV drama,<br />
back with its second season,<br />
continuing the cliffhanger that left<br />
viewers guessing as to what<br />
happened to the fun-loving<br />
rockstar Abhi and the ever<br />

Bondage”, went down memory<br />
lane on Thursday, lamenting<br />
that nobody pampers or spoils<br />
her again after the death of her<br />
husband, Chief Okonta.<br />
Merit marked her birthday on<br />
Thursday, and she had every<br />
reason to get emotional, having<br />
dawned on her that the man<br />
she loved all her life, was<br />
nowhere around her on this<br />
special day. In a chat on<br />
determined, strong-willed<br />
Pragya. Will they finally get<br />
the love they deserve or will<br />
Abhi’s evil sister Aliya get<br />
what she wants and remove<br />
Pragya for good? 2018 also sees<br />
the return of another popular<br />
series - King of Hearts season 2,<br />
as well as new series - Bride with<br />
Benefits, Begusarai, Amma and<br />
Iron Lady.<br />
A number of blockbuster movies<br />
will also premiere on Zee<br />
BollyMovies later this year,<br />
including the 2017 crime thriller,<br />
MOM, starring the Bollywood<br />
legend Sridevi, who sets out to<br />
avenge her step-daughter after<br />
the justice system failed to convict<br />
her attackers. With the help of a<br />
shady detective, she takes the law<br />
into her own hands. Other movies<br />
on the channel will feature A-list<br />
actors like Shah Rukh Khan,<br />
Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra,<br />
Amitabh Bachchan among<br />
others.<br />

birthday without my husband<br />
around me. If he had been<br />
alive, I would have been<br />
looking forward to the day<br />
because presents and a party<br />
would have been guaranteed.”<br />
“I have finally realized that<br />
he's no more,”she added.<br />
Merit said, it has not been<br />
easy for me,’ adding that “ I am<br />
stronger now.” However, in his<br />
absence, the mother of five tried<br />
to make herself happy by<br />
throwing a birthday bash at<br />
Zanzibar Lounge, in Asaba,<br />
which was attended by her<br />
friends and family members.<br />
She also released stunning<br />
photos of herself to celebrate<br />
her day.<br />
Recall that the actress who<br />
hails from Abia State lost her<br />
husband, Chief Okonta to the<br />
cold hands of death few days to<br />
their 22nd wedding<br />
anniversary, in 2016.<br />
Chief Okonta died on the 7th<br />
of March after a protracted<br />
illness while their wedding<br />
anniversary came up on the<br />
15th of March. The actress, who<br />
is currently starring in a new<br />
TV series, “ Secrets and<br />
Scandals” alongside Igwe Laz<br />
Ekwueme in Lagos, said she<br />
will forever missed her late<br />
husband.<br />

debut into Nollywood<br />
in 2017 with the<br />
movie, ‘London Fever’<br />
starring some of the trailblazing<br />
actors including<br />
Toyin Abraham, Alexx<br />
Akubo, Mike Godson among<br />
others, Mina’s Dollz is back<br />
again with yet another mindblowing<br />
project. This time a<br />
self-styled talk show called,<br />
The Mina’s Dollz show. It’s<br />
a Talk show on women<br />
empowerment, The Mina’s<br />
Dollz Show, acccording to<br />
the producer, seeks to inform<br />
and educate it viewers on a<br />
range of issues concerning<br />
women such as health,<br />
relationship, lifestyle and<br />
more. “It is a platform where<br />
successful women and men<br />
from all works of life are<br />
invited as guest to speak<br />
about their journey and<br />
challenges they had to face<br />
before achieving success in<br />
their field of endeavour,” he<br />
says. An hour programme,<br />
the show is designed not just<br />
to educate but also entertain<br />
the audience. For every<br />
edition, an artiste will<br />
perform at the end of the<br />
show to close it.<br />

Meanwhile, following the<br />

concluded plans to premiere<br />
‘London Fever’ in Nigeria as<br />
well as showing the movie in<br />
major cinemas across the<br />
country sometime in the<br />
second quarter of the year.<br />
