Tibetan bridge "Carasc" Crossing the 270m-long Tibetan bridge "Carasc" is a challenging yet exhilarating experience. The bridge connects the stone-built village of Curzútt to the "Via delle Vigne" hiking path, offering visitors the opportunity to explore a culturally rich landscape. The bridge is accessible with the cableway departing from Monte Carasso of the adjacent mountains and valleys, making it an aweinspiring experience. The Tremola Road, St. Gotthard The Tremola Road is Switzerland’s longest memorial to road construction. It snakes up as a lightcoloured ribbon from Airolo to the famous Gotthard Pass. Ritom Piora & Lake Tremorgio Ride the steep funicular to the Piora Valley, a quiet mountain area rich in botanical, animal and geological diversity. Santa Petronilla Waterfall High above Biasca there is a stream that flows through the rocky landscape carved over the centuries by the water to become the enchanting waterfall of Santa Petronilla. The fall can be reached by a walk of about thirty minutes, starting in Biasca along the path of the Cross with its 14 chapels, the Romanesque Bridge and the Oratory of Santa Petronilla. The market of Bellinzona The Saturday market in Bellinzona is a popular event that is recognized as one of the best traditions of Ticino, and with its multicoloured stalls, it draws in visitors to buy fresh and local products such as home-made specialties, cheese and handcrafted products. All of this surrounded by a floral backdrop and nearby restaurants to enjoy. The Greina plateau and its arch Hike the Greina plateau between the Cantons of Ticino and Grisons, at an altitude of more than 2,200 m and reachable only on foot. This area, with its, unique appearance, shares many characteristics of an alpine tundra. Here, the many mountain torrents and streams unravel undisturbed, creating amazing pools, oxbows, peat bogs and marsh. 11
