Crossing the 270m-long Tibetan<br />
bridge "Carasc" is a challenging yet<br />
exhilarating experience. The bridge<br />
connects the stone-built village of<br />
Curzútt to the "Via delle Vigne" hiking<br />
path, offering visitors the opportunity<br />
to explore a culturally rich landscape.<br />
The bridge is accessible with the<br />
cableway departing from Monte<br />
Carasso of the adjacent mountains<br />
and valleys, making it an aweinspiring<br />

The Tremola Road,<br />
St. Gotthard<br />
The Tremola Road is Switzerland’s<br />
longest memorial to road<br />
construction. It snakes up as a lightcoloured<br />
ribbon from Airolo to the<br />
famous Gotthard Pass. On the most<br />
spectacular section, the road climbs<br />
300 m altitude around 24 bends<br />
over a distance of four kilometres.<br />

Lake Tremorgio<br />
Ride the steep funicular to the Piora<br />
Valley, a quiet mountain area rich<br />
in botanical, animal and geological<br />
diversity. Alternatively, reach the<br />
enchanting sapphire-like alpine<br />
Lake Tremorgio with a quick ride<br />
on the cable car departing from<br />
Rodi. Both areas will treat you<br />
with a peaceful atmosphere and<br />
breathtaking views.<br />
Santa Petronilla<br />
Waterfall<br />
High above Biasca there is a<br />
stream that flows through the<br />
rocky landscape carved over the<br />
centuries by the water to become<br />
the enchanting waterfall of Santa<br />
Petronilla. The fall can be reached<br />
by a walk of about thirty minutes,<br />
starting in Biasca along the path of<br />
the Cross with its 14 chapels, the<br />
Romanesque Bridge and the Oratory<br />
of Santa Petronilla.<br />
The market of<br />
Bellinzona<br />
The Saturday market in Bellinzona is<br />
a popular event that is recognized as<br />
one of the best traditions of <strong>Ticino</strong>,<br />
and with its multicoloured stalls,<br />
it draws in visitors to buy fresh and<br />
local products such as home-made<br />
specialties, cheese and handcrafted<br />
products. All of this surrounded<br />
by a floral backdrop and nearby<br />
restaurants to enjoy.<br />
The Greina plateau<br />
and its arch<br />
Hike the Greina plateau between the<br />
Cantons of <strong>Ticino</strong> and Grisons, at an<br />
altitude of more than 2,200 m and<br />
reachable only on foot. This area,<br />
with its, unique appearance, shares<br />
many characteristics of an alpine<br />
tundra. Here, the many mountain<br />
torrents and streams unravel<br />
undisturbed, creating amazing pools,<br />
oxbows, peat bogs and marsh.<br />
