HELSINGBORGS KÖRFESTIVAL May 9 - 13, 2018 Helsingborg, Sweden The Swedish International Choir Competition Sweden – home of outstanding choirs and unique choral sounds from Scandinavia – will host another international INTERKULTUR choir event in spring 2018, following a successful first edition in 2004. The country’s choirs rank among the world’s best ensembles and determine the level of international choir competitions in many years. A great music festival awaits you in Helsingborg, one of the most exciting places at the northern Baltic Sea. Many competition categories, Evaluation Performances and Individual Coachings as well as intercultural Friendship Concerts open all doors to the participants. Helsingborg, a city with more than 100,000 residents, is located in Sweden’s south, at the narrowest point of the Öresund, the beautiful strait between Sweden and Denmark. The city’s cultural life is thriving in recent years: Fans of classic, Jazz and modern music regularly find what they’re looking for.
