Thirty-six years after the ground-breaking original Broadway production, this UK and West End premiere of the sensational
and iconic musical Dreamgirls continues its run at the Savoy Theatre. With direction and choreography by Olivier and Tony
Award-winner Casey Nicholaw and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions this much-anticipated production has taken
London by storm. Featuring the classic songs "I Am Changing", "One Night Only" and the show-stopping "And I Am Telling
You I’m Not Going" this new production features the Oscar nominated song "Listen", written specially for the 2006 motion
picture and a worldwide hit for Beyonce. Inspired by R&B music acts of the 1960s America, Dreamgirls charts the tumultuous
journey of a young female singing trio from Chicago, Illinois called ‘The Dreams’.

sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and

Festival of Remembrance 2018 at The Mayflower, Southampton Sun 11th November 2018
The Royal British Legion welcomes you to a special performance to commemorate those who have lost their lives in conflicts.
100 years to the very day since the end of World War One, join us for an evening of music, song, poetry and special
memories. Performed by a 300 strong cast of choirs, military drums and the professional Showcase Philharmagic Orchestra,
who are all volunteering their time, for an unforgettable evening. The performance will of course embrace the Act of
Remembrance with time to reflect and give thanks to our fallen heroes.
Music will include well known favourites by Eric Coates, Vera Lynn, Edward Elgar & Karl Jenkins plus your chance to sing
along with memorable tunes such as Keep the Home Fires Burning & Roll Out the Barrel.
