Great value day out to the excellent WestQuay shopping centre in the centre of
Southampton. Choose from over 100 stores including John Lewis, Marks & Spencer,
Dorothy Perkins, Gap, Evans, Wallis and Next. On the top level there is a superb
selection of restaurants to choose from - Nando’s, Pizza Express, The Chicago Rib
Shack, Wagamama and many more... The massive Ikea store is close by if you want
some inspirational ideas for the home. The new £70 million WestQuay Watermark
development is open with a new public plaza created and a host of new restaurants,
bars and leisure facilities available.

Isle of Wight Tour with local guide
ROUTE A
ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR DAYS. After joining the ferry from Lymington we
will be joined by one of our local guides for a tour of the Island – we try to see as
much as possible during the day. The island boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline
and beautiful countryside. We take in many of the best sights and usually include
Newport, Sandown, Godshill, Shanklin, Ventnor, Freshwater and Alum Bay. There will
be a main stop for lunch. A great day out.

Devon & Dorset Drive with Roast Carvery

Lovely day out to enjoy the beautiful scenery of West Dorset and East Devon before
stopping at the excellent Hare & Hounds Pub near Sidmouth. This traditional country
pub has wooden beams and log fires with lovely views down to Sidmouth and the
sea. We have included a delicious carvery with an extensive choice of fresh
vegetables, gravy and extras. Pudding is available on the day for an additional cost.
Afterwards we shall head in to Sidmouth with time to stroll along the seafront and
explore the shops.

Buscot Park & The Faringdon Collection - National Trust ROUTE C
Wow! Undoubtably one of the best National Trust properties we have visited.
Located in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with extensive grounds, Buscot Park is the
family home of Lord Faringdon. Built in the Italianate country houses style between
1780 and 1783, the estate has a fascinating history which has left the estate with a
remarkable legacy. There is a variety of attractions - from formal gardens to
woodlands. There are plenty of lovely viewpoints and a selection of architectural
sculptures adds interest to your visit. Don’t miss the stunning water gardens
designed by Harold Peto. The house does not disappoint and houses the wonderful
Faringdon Collection of fine paintings and furniture collected over a century. With
paintings by Rembrandt, Reynolds, Rubens, van Dyck and Murillo and furniture by
Robert Adams this is now a very important collection of works. Lovely tearoom on
site. Price includes entrance.

Windsor River Cruise with delicious Ploughman’s lunch

After leaving Windsor Promenade at 11.00am we enjoy excellent views of Windsor
Castle and Eton College. After passing Windsor racecourse, the boat goes through
Boveney Lock and passes Sutherland Grange, The Willows and Bray Film Studios. It
then heads towards Oakley Court, Queen’s Eyot and Monkey Island where the boat
turns for the journey back to Windsor arriving at 1.30pm. While you take in the
beautiful scenery of the Royal River Thames, you will be served a delicious cheese &
ham Ploughman’s lunch with Slice of Cake & Tea. Afterwards there will be plenty of
free time in Windsor. Price include lunch & boat fare.

Horse Drawn Canal Boat & Marlborough

Extended and improved. Step back in time with us, as we head first to one of our
favourite stopping places, Marlborough. This archetypal English Market town has
that ‘film location’ quality and is a great spot to stroll around and enjoy a nice lunch.
In the afternoon we head to nearby Kintbury and board the 'Kennet Valley' horse
drawn barge for a 2½ hour cruise along the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal.
This wide beam passenger boat was purpose built for carrying passengers and is
powered solely by the towing action of the horse making for a tranquil journey.
Facilities onboard include a well stocked bar serving tea, coffee, soft drinks and
beverages. Whilst on board we have included a cup of tea & slice of cake for you!

customers. A fascinating rare glimpse in to Royal life in the 19th Century, the house
has an extravagant interior and there are extensive gardens offering views across the
Solent. Take an intimate glimpse into Queen Victoria’s family life as you tour the
nursery and private rooms of Victoria and Albert. Marvel at the magnificence of the
Royal Apartments including the sumptuous drawing and dining rooms and the richly
decorated Indian-inspired Durbar Room. The visitor centre houses an exhibition

independent shops in Sidmouth, and a range of cafes, restaurants and pubs. The
delightful regency architecture adds to the unique atmosphere of this lovely town - a

is one of the best gardens in England - a garden not to be missed.
Certainly one of the most exciting gardens we have visited, Hidcote is divided in to a
series of small gardens. Explore the maze of narrow paved pathways and discover
secret gardens, magnificent vistas and plants that burst with colour. It’s the perfect
place if you’re in need of gardening inspiration. Famous for rare shrubs and trees as
well as its outstanding design features - there are water features, wild flower areas
and pools with plenty of places to sit and take in the atmosphere. See the long
herbaceous borders which gives a great splash of colour from July and walk amongst
the old scented roses along the walkway and small garden houses. Lovely restaurant
