Dorothy Perkins, Gap, Evans, Wallis and Next. On the <strong>to</strong>p level there is a superb<br />
selection of restaurants <strong>to</strong> choose from - Nando’s, Pizza Express, The Chicago Rib<br />
Shack, Wagamama and many more... The massive Ikea s<strong>to</strong>re is close by if you want<br />
some inspirational ideas for the home. The new £70 million WestQuay Watermark<br />
development is open with a new public plaza created and a host of new restaurants,<br />

Isle of Wight Tour with local guide<br />

ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR DAYS. After joining the ferry from Lyming<strong>to</strong>n we<br />
will be joined by one of our local guides for a <strong>to</strong>ur of the Island – we try <strong>to</strong> see as<br />
much as possible during the day. The island boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline<br />
and beautiful countryside. We take in many of the best sights and usually include<br />
Newport, Sandown, Godshill, Shanklin, Ventnor, Freshwater and Alum Bay. There will<br />
be a main s<strong>to</strong>p for lunch. A great day out.<br />

Devon & Dorset Drive with Roast Carvery<br />

Lovely day out <strong>to</strong> enjoy the beautiful scenery of West Dorset and East Devon before<br />
s<strong>to</strong>pping at the excellent Hare & Hounds Pub near Sidmouth. This traditional country<br />
pub has wooden beams and log fires with lovely views down <strong>to</strong> Sidmouth and the<br />
sea. We have included a delicious carvery with an extensive choice of fresh<br />
vegetables, gravy and extras. Pudding is available on the day for an additional cost.<br />
Afterwards we shall head in <strong>to</strong> Sidmouth with time <strong>to</strong> stroll along the seafront and<br />
explore the shops.<br />

Buscot Park & The Faringdon Collection - National Trust ROUTE C<br />
Wow! Undoubtably one of the best National Trust properties we have visited.<br />
Located in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds with extensive grounds, Buscot Park is the<br />
family home of Lord Faringdon. Built in the Italianate country houses style between<br />
1780 and 1783, the estate has a fascinating his<strong>to</strong>ry which has left the estate with a<br />
remarkable legacy. There is a variety of attractions - from formal gardens <strong>to</strong><br />
woodlands. There are plenty of lovely viewpoints and a selection of architectural<br />
sculptures adds interest <strong>to</strong> your visit. Don’t miss the stunning water gardens<br />
designed by Harold Pe<strong>to</strong>. The house does not disappoint and houses the wonderful<br />
Faringdon Collection of fine paintings and furniture collected over a century. With<br />
paintings by Rembrandt, Reynolds, Rubens, van Dyck and Murillo and furniture by<br />
Robert Adams this is now a very important collection of works. Lovely tearoom on<br />

Windsor River Cruise with delicious Ploughman’s lunch<br />

After leaving Windsor Promenade at 11.00am we enjoy excellent views of Windsor<br />
Castle and E<strong>to</strong>n College. After passing Windsor racecourse, the boat goes through<br />
Boveney Lock and passes Sutherland Grange, The Willows and Bray Film Studios. It<br />
then heads <strong>to</strong>wards Oakley Court, Queen’s Eyot and Monkey Island where the boat<br />
turns for the journey back <strong>to</strong> Windsor arriving at 1.30pm. While you take in the<br />
beautiful scenery of the Royal River Thames, you will be served a delicious cheese &<br />
ham Ploughman’s lunch with Slice of Cake & Tea. Afterwards there will be plenty of<br />
free time in Windsor. Price include lunch & boat fare.<br />

Horse Drawn Canal Boat & Marlborough<br />

Extended and improved. Step back in time with us, as we head first <strong>to</strong> one of our<br />
favourite s<strong>to</strong>pping places, Marlborough. This archetypal English Market <strong>to</strong>wn has<br />
that ‘film location’ quality and is a great spot <strong>to</strong> stroll around and enjoy a nice lunch.<br />
In the afternoon we head <strong>to</strong> nearby Kintbury and board the 'Kennet Valley' horse<br />
drawn barge for a 2½ hour cruise along the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal.<br />
This wide beam passenger boat was purpose built for carrying passengers and is<br />
powered solely by the <strong>to</strong>wing action of the horse making for a tranquil journey.<br />
Facilities onboard include a well s<strong>to</strong>cked bar serving tea, coffee, soft drinks and<br />
beverages. Whilst on board we have included a cup of tea & slice of cake for you!<br />

Certainly one of the most exciting gardens we have visited, Hidcote is divided in <strong>to</strong> a<br />
series of small gardens. Explore the maze of narrow paved pathways and discover<br />
secret gardens, magnificent vistas and plants that burst with colour. It’s the perfect<br />
place if you’re in need of gardening inspiration. Famous for rare shrubs and trees as<br />
well as its outstanding design features - there are water features, wild flower areas<br />
and pools with plenty of places <strong>to</strong> sit and take in the atmosphere. See the long<br />
herbaceous borders which gives a great splash of colour from July and walk amongst<br />
the old scented roses along the walkway and small garden houses. Lovely restaurant<br />
