All set for Saturday 2nd June!
Park opens at 12noon
This year is an extra special year for Lilias Day as it marks the 50th Anniversary
of the revival of our long running village fair and historic parade. We have lots of
fantastic entertainment lined up for you between Lilifest and Lilias Day and plenty
of opportunities for you to get involved and support your community.
On Lilias Day itself we have an exciting line-up featuring new acts such as 3sixty bike
display, Sheboom, Johnny Barr Music Tent and a full programme of entertainment
in the Kids Tent. Also new this year will be our craft village, zorbing, art show and
tasty additions to our food village!
The parade this year also promises to be our biggest yet, with a record number of
floats, an elusive Batman making an appearance, and the best in local piping with
Kilbarchan, St Columba’s and Houston Pipe Bands all taking part. We are also
delighted to have a number of previous Miss Lilias’ in the parade to help us
celebrate the 50th anniversary.
As well as our new additions we will also be welcoming back our usual
stalwarts of Lilias Day - Britannia XIV medieval village and archery, the annual
tug of war tournament, the local football derby and 50 stalls for our 50th
anniversary year.
Our grand finale this year will again be the big prize raffle, when one lucky
winner will leave the park £1,000 richer. If you haven’t bought your ticket yet,
you can buy them at local shops throughout the village and on the day at the
Lilias Day Committee stall.
As always we are delighted to have the support of the village, local organisations
and businesses, without whom Lilias Day would not happen. Each year the
event raises tens of thousands of pounds for charities and good causes.
Get Involved
Decorate your house or premises - give the village a real festival atmosphere
us know if you’re taking part so that your masterpiece can be entered for the
coveted prize of best decorated house. Judging commences at 10am on Lilias
