Frewen College
What kind of events can the premises be hired for?
During the holidays, Frewen College transforms into a luxury
weddings and events venue, known as Brickwall House. The
400-year-old Grade I Listed house and its beautiful grounds
can also host other events such as craft fairs, music recitals,
corporate away days and anniversary parties.
Which part of the school can be used?
Hirers have exclusive use of the property and its gardens. The
beautiful panelled Jacobean Drawing Room is licenced for
civil ceremonies, whilst a marquee can be erected on the rear
lawns, hosting receptions for up to 200 guests. The study
centre can also be used for break-out rooms for conferences
and meetings.
What is special about it?
Run by Nova Wedding Planning, our award-winning event
and weddings team can offer expert advice. Cuisine is
provided by the renowned Kitchen of Kent caterers who can
provide a bespoke menu to suit any occasion from formal
dining to more relaxed BBQ parties.
How many people can be accommodated?
There are also 19 en-suite bedrooms onsite (all singles) which
can be used in the summer holidays should guests wish to stay
over, allowing for a more relaxed celebration.
What special events have been held there?
Wedding Co-ordinator Pippa: “This being our first weddings
and events season, we are delighted to be almost fully booked
with some lovely luxury weddings, which include BBQ
soirees, garden parties and afternoon tea events. It promises to
be a very special year.”
