IT APPEARS to be a lose-lose situation for residents putting<br />

up with boy racer and rubbish issues as a result of how road<br />

barriers are placed in the red zone area.<br />

As city councillor Glenn Livingstone points out on our page 1<br />

story today, the issue is a “trade off” between keeping people out<br />

and giving access for the public to walk around.<br />

But residents have had enough of noisy boyracers and the<br />

mess that is left behind and need support from authorities on<br />

possible solutions.<br />

On a more positive note, the first outdoor gym in the eastern<br />

suburbs has opened (page 4).<br />

It is great to see the new facility in Burwood Park finally open<br />

after several delays, and the best part is, it will cater for all ages.<br />

Make sure you go try out all the new fitness equipment if you<br />

are in the Burwood area.<br />
