just as much a cat<br />
just as much a salad flower. your long<br />
polka-dot dresses, your sweet hair,<br />
your habit of working way<br />
beyond when anyone should be expected to work -<br />
you cured diseases<br />
constantly<br />
<strong>and</strong> love came from me<br />
constantly<br />
as I waited for you in bars,<br />
thinking but never telling you.<br />
sometimes I hear from you<br />
<strong>and</strong> decide<br />
I should say something<br />
but we are in different countries<br />
