Winter is upon us and we have many buyers looking
for their next home. If you are thinking of selling this
year, now is the time to do it.
There is a very short supply of homes on the market
at present which means buyers have very little options
to choose from.
Kathryn and I believe that the time is right to market
and sell your home. We would welcome a call from you
to discuss selling your home, we may just have a buyer!
Yes that’s right this is an exceptional opportunity for individual buyers, those looking to
get on the property ladder or an investment. This proposal sits in a popular location that
has seen significant regeneration in recent years due to the excitement of its proximity
to the CBD and a gentle stroll to Edgeware Village. Both homes offer street frontage
and presented in low-maintenance brick for ease of mind. Renovated throughout while
injecting a contemporary flare, including retro glazing. A sun drenched open plan living,
well-appointed kitchen and bathroom and two double bedrooms. A private and secure
courtyard, single garage with off street parking adds to the appeal. With zoning for
several sought after schools (including St Albans Primary, Heaton Intermediate, CGHS
and CBHS), represents excellent value for money. Don’t miss this opportunity to secure
your own slice of the city fringe our owners are focused on a sale and the properties are
to be auctioned separately - hence this should be your call to action.
Client Testimonials
In May 2018 I decided to sell my property at 165 Westminster Street. Although I knew
a number of real estate sales people (including friends) I decided to place my property
with Peter Hampton from the St Albans office of Harcourts. I made this decision based
on a number of factors. Firstly I researched Peters track record and found he was an
achiever and was a proven professional person in all respects, secondly he worked
and seemed to specialise in the area, thirdly he worked in conjunction with his partner,
Katherine, which gave further impetus to the whole process.
I certainly made the right decision. We achieved a most satisfactory sale, the
communication between ourselves and Peter (and Katherine) was excellent and
everything went really well.
Above all these things, Peters enthusiasm and dedication to extract a successful sale was
catching... on the tail of his attitude we all got fired up! And were carried along with “the
ensuing real estate ride.”
Thanks Peter & Katherine...Thanks Harcourts!!
Peter and Kathryn both have a passion for property that’s obvious when you first meet
them. Their enthusiastic approach and ability to see each property’s individual potential
makes them a great team when it comes to selling your property.
Wikipedia search ‘The Hamptons’ and you will discover pages about a group of villages
and hamlets in Long Island, New York that form a popular seaside resort and one of the
historical summer colonies of the northeastern United States: a community-oriented
dwelling place for affluent families originally descended from salt-of-the-earth, potato
farming community stock.
Google search The Hamptons in Christchurch and you will come across a few parallel
observations. A husband and wife team with a passion for Canterbury homes, villages
and hamlets, dedicated to helping sometimes affluent and always salt-of-the-earth
families in their quest to find community-oriented dwelling places.
But let’s cut the sales flannel because that’s definitely not how Kathryn and Peter roll.
On the contrary, if you’re looking for sound, well-researched property advice, without
the hype then look no further. My family and I relocated here from Australia with no
prior knowledge of the various neighbourhoods and an innate fear of buying a property
on ground that might be susceptible to movement. The Hamptons proved to be our
salvation….careful, considered and coherent counsel, always with a smile and delivered
with a can-do approach to bespoke house viewing times and wine-inspired strategy
sessions.
The net outcome: we moved into our beautiful new family house in Strowan a few
months ago and what we owe the bank pales in comparison to our debt of gratitude to
Pete and Kathryn for helping us to find our dream home. I would be more than happy to
hear from you if you need any more convincing of why to consider the Hamptons when
thinking of buying or selling a property.
