Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4-point scale for courses taken during the term. Among those named to the list were Erin Cygan, Andrew Gilson, Claire Martin, Elizabeth Paris, Courtney Wehmeier and Olivia Zolnik, all of Orland Park. Illinois State University Orland Park students named to dean’s list Illinois State University recently announced the names of undergraduate students on the dean’s list for scholarship in their chosen fields of study during the spring 2018 semester. Criteria for earning dean’s list status include grade point averages that place the student among the top 10 percent of students majoring within an academic college at Illinois State. Undergraduates who meet high academic standards, as established by the college of their major, are included in a dean’s list issued each semester. Eligible students must complete 12 or more graded hours during the semester. John Carroll University Orland Parker earns place on dean’s list Mary Connolly, of Orland Park, has been named to the dean’s list at John Carroll University for the Spring 2018 semester. Students eligible for the dean’s list must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours within one semester and have a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Oregon State University Student from Orland Park among those on honor roll Names of students who have made the scholastic honor roll spring term 2018 have been announced by Oregon State University. A total of 1,361 students earned straight-A grades (4.0). Another 4,261 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work. Among those on the honor roll was Orland Park’s Ioannis Demogerontas, senior finance major, who had a 3.5 or better. Palmer College of Chiropractic Orland Parker earns Doctor of Chiropractic degree Emily Boyich, of Orland Park, recently graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s main campus in Davenport, Iowa. University of Findlay Orland Park students named to dean’s list Olivia Rydzewski, of Orland Park, was named to the spring 2018 dean’s list at the University of Findlay. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
