STRIDE FOR LIFE
On Tuesday 17 th July, members of the school community participated in the CTK Stride
for Life, a 1km charity walk/run to raise money for the Breast
Institute at Nottingham City Hospital. We prayed for sunshine
and we were blessed with clear skies and lots of enthusiastic
participants from all areas of the school, including some very
energetic Year 7 runners who completed the course in a 3
legged fashion! Participants after school also enjoyed a
wonderful selection of
homemade refreshments made
by staff and students from our
Polish club and a group of our talented music students
entertained visitors with a medley of tunes as they browsed the
tombola and raffle.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of staff, students and
their families, we have so far managed to raise over £1100 for
the Breast Institute. I would also like to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone for
their support over the past few months whilst I have been undergoing treatment.
