THE FINAL WORD....
I have so many people to say ‘Thank you’ to that it
would be impossible to address you all
individually.
So on that note I’d like to just tell you all .....
To everyone I’ve ever played with at Warrington.
Players...Coaches... physio’s ...conditioners.
Everybody who works at Warrington ....in the
office...in the shop.
My family...my friends.... my sponsors.....my
committee..... but most of all to my fans.
You make me smile every time I leave the house,
whether it’s hugs and kisses or well wishes on the
street.
Firm handshakes from every walk of life
wishing me the very best....or groups of
youngsters in the mall daring each other to ask
for a pic or an autograph!!
All these things made me who I am today!! They
all have meaning and made me hungry to please
you .....week in ....week out.
From the Super Ben song sung on twitter by a 2
year old, or a hand made card made from scraps
of paper while I’m having my lunch in the pub
from one of my younger fans to wish me happy
birthday.
These are all things i’ll never ever forget. Thank
you all.
But the memory I love the most has got to be.....
The one where you all join in together and sing
“SUUUUPERRRRR......SUPER BEN......when the
whole of the stadium sing it loud and proud, that
gives me the most incredible feeling. Thank you
all.
The list is endless and you have all welcomed me
with open arms and shown love and respect and
the last ten years in Warrington have really been
the best years of my life.
So thank you for making my testimonial possible,
because without each and every one of you it
couldn’t have been possible.
