Penn Patient Participation Group<br />
The PPG AGM took<br />
place at Penn Surgery<br />
on 23rd July. It was an<br />
opportunity to thank<br />
Gill Markham, who<br />
stood down from the<br />
PPG Executive<br />
Committee, for her<br />
tireless commitment to<br />
the PPG, initially as Secretary and then as Chair<br />
for the past three years. Gill’s communication<br />
skills and warm personality have been highly<br />
valued by her PPG and Practice colleagues.<br />
From 1st <strong>Aug</strong>ust Buckinghamshire CCG are<br />
asking patients to order repeat medications and<br />
equipment (e.g. catheter and stoma bags and<br />
accessories) from your GP practice directly,<br />
rather than from your pharmacy or medical<br />
equipment supplier. Patients can order repeat<br />
medication online through Patient Access or by<br />
taking the completed repeat prescription request<br />
slip to the surgery. Please note: there are<br />
exceptions to the change, for those patients who<br />
need pharmacy support. More information is<br />
available on the surgery website and at<br />
Reception.<br />
The dates of the flu clinics will be posted on<br />
the surgery website by <strong>Sept</strong>ember.<br />
The Sports & Social Club<br />
Important news: The social club has a new<br />
website www.pennandtylersgreensportsand<br />
socialclub.co.uk. which will provide regular<br />
updates on activities, availability to hire rooms<br />
and any special events.<br />
Date for your Diary: Fireworks - the firework<br />
display will be held at the Sports & Social Club<br />
on the 10th November, details will be published<br />
locally.<br />

<strong>Village</strong> <strong>Voice</strong> <strong>Aug</strong>ust/<strong>Sept</strong>ember <strong>2018</strong><br />
Although we will have only just recovered<br />
from the World Cup, the premier league and<br />
championship will kick off again in <strong>Aug</strong>ust.<br />
Once again, Penn will be showing all Friday,<br />
Saturday and Sunday games in HD quality.<br />

P&TG Beer Festival<br />
The 8th P&TG Annual Beer Festival proved to<br />
be another great day out for the village.<br />
Anton Setchell and his team put together<br />
another fantastic range of music, for all tastes,<br />
including a 24 piece choir, a first for the beer<br />
Festival! 28 varieties of beer and cider were<br />
available, along with the new 'food village',<br />
