To ensure the safety and enjoyment of children using the facility during public and family swims, the following admission standards are in place.<br />
Supervision and ratio requirements will be strictly upheld. All participants must shower prior to swimming.<br />
Facility Swim Test<br />
Participants must be able to swim, without flotation devices of any kind, 1 length of the 25m pool on their front without stopping and without touching the<br />
bottom or sides of the pool. Participants of any age may be asked to perform a swim test.<br />
If swim test is passed = Green wristband and can swim in both pools<br />
If a swimmer cannot pass the swim test = Red wristband. Swimmers must stay in small pool or shallow end of 25m pool only. Supervision & ratio rules apply.<br />
Supervision & Ratios<br />
Caregiver Must be at least 15 yrs of age and are responsible for the children in their care while in the facility.<br />
• Children 5 yrs and under ALWAYS accompanied by a caregiver in arms reach at a ratio of 1:3<br />
• Children 6-9 yrs who cannot pass the swim test, receive a Red wristband and are ALWAYS accompanied by a caregiver in arms reach at a ratio of 1:4<br />
• Children 6-7 yrs who can pass the swim test receive a Green wristband. Caregiver must remain in the pool and the child must complete the swim test<br />
each visit.<br />
• Children 8-9 yrs of age and can pass the swim test receive a Green wristband. Caregiver must remain in the facility.<br />
• Children 10-13 yrs of age. No supervision is required (please note that all family swims require adults with children based on swim description).<br />

Synchro Squirts is a program designed for beginner<br />
swimmers with a low student to instructor ratio. Synchro<br />
Squirts provides an opportunity for children to be creative in<br />
the water and work together as part of a team. Our Synchro<br />
Squirts will get to show off their newfound skills at the mini<br />
show Nov 13th or the Christmas Synchro Show on December<br />
18th or the Synchro Finale Show on April 28th.<br />
Prerequisite: Sunfish or Red Cross Level 1, Ages 5-8 yrs<br />

A fun sport for anyone that enjoys exploring movement and<br />
dancing in the water. It is designed for children to improve<br />
their swimming skills, flexibility and strength while having fun<br />
and building friendships. Swimmers are invited to participate<br />
in fun competitions, perform at the Christmas show, year-end<br />
show and work to complete their synchronized swimming<br />
levels. Christmas Synchro show Dec 18th from 7:30pm-<br />
8:30pm or Finale Show on April 28th from 3pm-4pm.<br />
