DID YOU KNOW THE MUNICIPALITY HAS A CULTURAL PLAN?
The Municipality of Port Hope, undertook a process to create a Cultural Plan
in 2011. The Cultural Plan is a community plan that developed a definition of
culture, and identifies a series of strategic priorities.
Definition of Culture for the Municipality of Port Hope: Culture is a creative
expression of who we are and who we want to be. It recognizes our values,
customs and beliefs, heritage, built and natural environment, and our
intellectual and social achievements. Culture is all those things that make
our Municipality unique and vibrant – how people express life and live in
our community.
