ABOUT THE AUTHOR<br />

Dr. Stewart is a member of the Yellowknife Dene First Nation and holds the current<br />

Canada Research Chair in Aboriginal Homelessness and Life Transitions. She is director<br />

of the Waakebiness-Bryce Institute for Indigenous Health and an associate professor at the<br />

University of Toronto Dalla Lana School of Public Health.<br />
