ABOUT THE AUTHORS<br />

Brittany Brakenhoff, MS, is a PhD candidate at Ohio State University in the Couple<br />

and Family Therapy Program. She is also a licensed marriage and family therapist and is<br />

interested in developing family-based interventions for people experiencing homelessness<br />

and substance use issues.<br />

Natasha Slesnick, PhD, is a professor of couple and family therapy at Ohio State<br />

University. Her research focuses on developing interventions for youth who are homeless<br />

and their families. She has opened drop-in centres for youth experiencing homelessness in<br />

Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Columbus, Ohio.<br />
