WEST NEWSMAGAZINE
I FOOTBALL PREVIEW I 27
are at a point now where we’ve got more
depth and talent in several areas. We have
a Division 1 quarterback, we’ve got very
good running backs, we [have] three of
our starting offensive linemen returning
and a lot of good skill players returning
on defense. I’m very excited about the
new additions to our program including
incoming freshmen. From a special teams
standpoint, our specialists and kickers are
as good as anyone’s. So we’ve got some
positives working for us, but we still have
to go out and play the game and do the
little things you have to do each day to
win the game of inches.”
