SPB Secondary and JC Orientation Week
Secondary - JC Orientation program was
held on July 18 - 20. This program aims
to help students get better understading
of school rules and policies.
Each morning, the program was strarted
with morning prayer, SPB pledge,
followed by ice breaker games which was
conducted by different teachers. Students
learned about rules and policies, arrival,
morning meeting, during lesson, break
time, homework, etc. Expectation about
behaviors and consequences were also
discussed. All these presentations were
conducted by teachers.
We had Ms. Mutya, as one of the Project
Managers of Science Fair introducing
Science competition to the students,
they showed enthusiasm to know more
by asking lots of questions.
Ms. Regina gave a tutorial to Secondary 1
and all new students on how to use Alma
and Google Classroom.
Ms. Carol had a courageous conversation
with all female students and teachers.
This workshop aimed to equip the girls
to be confident, acknowledging their
strength to speak up and express
themselves.
Students participated in various sports
matches such as basketball, galasin,
badminton and other activities such
as charades, Jeopardy quiz and team
building games. The event was a success
with students having fun mingling with
their fellow members of Secondary - JC
community while learning and reviewing
school’s expectations.
