One of the greats of the Italian canon of modern design, Flexform
was founded by the Galimberti brothers in 1959. Based in a single
manufacturing plant in Meda, Italy, since its inception, Pietro
Galimberti, the second-generation owner and architect of Flexform’s
collaboration with Citterio, believes Flexform’s Italian provenance
evidently has something to do with the brand’s success: “ There is a
culture of beauty in our DNA, even in the small things. For example,
we don’t say a delicious plate of spaghetti but say a beautiful plate of
spaghetti. The Italians have always had a sense of beauty and style of
living which now is envied and recognised by the world.”

Sophisticated and sensual, the SVEVA
armchair has a shapely shell upholstered
in saddle hide which accommodates the
soft, goose-down-filled seat and seat back
cushions. The cast aluminum swivel base
can be customised in satin, chromed,
burnished, black chromed and champagne
finished metal, and can be paired with its
own namesake ottoman.

Like its predecessors, the Campiello combines clean, uncluttered lines with the promise of
inviting warmth and amazing softness. Available in versions with or without roll cushion
to achieve different aesthetic and ergonomic effects, the version with roll cushion provides
greater back and neck support. The sofa sits on an elegant cast aluminum base painted grey
or bronze, or with satin, chromed, burnished, black chromed or champagne finished.
