THE HOME
GALLOTTI & RADICE
The first company in Italy to
experiment and promote the use
of glass in furniture, Gallotti &
Radice has always been ahead of
its time. Established by Pierangelo
Gallotti and Luigi Radice, they
began an artistic space dedicated to
creating one-off pieces including
lighting appliances, furnishing
items, mirrors, all made exclusively
by hand. Today the brand is still a
family-run company and apart from
consistently coaxing the best from
glass while pushing the boundaries
with avant-garde design and elegant
forms, they offer a complete range of
furniture and accessories.
Oto Big dining
table - Designed by
Gabriele Buratti
Marble is still very much the
material of choice, but brands
and designers have innovated
by making it as slim as physics
and technology will allow. Case
in point? Gallotti & Radice’s
stunning Oto Big table in with
its wafer-thin Carrara white or
Nero Marquinia marble top and
asymmetrical “ supermirror”
stainless steel base.
Fiona sofa - Designed by Massimo Castagna
Tufted and traditional or modern and modular, the Capitonné trend in seating continued
to go strong at Salone del Mobile 2018. Gallotti & Radice’s dreamy Fiona sofa puts a
contemporary twist on this time-honoured artisanal finish.
